Right to Vote Amendment (rough draft)
A referendum may be placed on the national ballot by one of the following two methods.
- Signatures of 5% of the voters in the previous presidential election
- Approval by 15% of the state legislatures (8 states)
A 60% plurality shall be necessary for passage of the referendum.
A successful referendum shall become law subject to not being overridden by a vote of both houses of the United States Congress. A vote to overturn shall be a one-issue vote and may be a repeal-and-replace vote.
Results of a successful referendum vote shall not be subject to judicial review nor be subject to a presidential veto.
